Did you know that the average woman uses 12 beauty and personal care products per day?
And that each of those products could potentially have hundreds of chemicals in them, many of which are linked to human health disruption like cancer, fertility and reproductive issues and allergies?
Yeah. And when you think about the fact that we tend to use those same 12 products day in and day out, year after year, you start realize that this stuff adds up in our systems.
Seems silly to eat healthy, exercise and drink green smoothies, only to rub harmful chemicals on our bodies, no?
So I’ve been testing lots of different combos of products. Flushing out where to spend, where to save, what I love, what I don’t really love. What I need, what I don’t really need. And below are the safer products I’ve landed on.
You’ll note I’ve left deodorant off the list for now because, well, I’ve yet to find one I feel awesome about recommending. Most have just left me smellier than if I’d used nothing at all. Which is what I do sometimes. So the hunt continues!
